HMD is preparing the Pulse 2 Pro with a new iPhone-style design and an improved display

HMD, which launched the Pulse Pro smartphone last April, is already working on its successor — the Pulse 2 Pro model. A leaked image of the device and key specs have hit the web, revealing a notable design and hardware update.
According to the render, the Pulse 2 Pro’s camera gets a design inspired by the iPhone 17. The dual camera module is housed in an elongated oval block, which in turn is embedded in a larger square area with rounded corners — similar to the iPhone 17 Pro series. The camera protrudes noticeably above the body, more prominently than on the original Pulse Pro.
The screen has also undergone changes. The new IPS display has grown to 6.7 inches (up from 6.65 inches previously) and now supports FHD+ resolution instead of HD+, as well as a 120Hz refresh rate (instead of 90Hz). This should greatly improve the experience when viewing content and playing games.

The leaked device will be powered by the Unisoc T615 processor, replacing the T606, according to the leak. Earlier, the Unisoc T7250 was mentioned, which is actually a renamed version of the T615. However, the new chip, like its predecessor, is made on a 12nm process and doesn’t support 5G.
Other improvements include — higher dust and water resistance (IP54 instead of IP52), stereo speakers, dual microphones, customizable buttons and an NFC module. The smartphone is rumored to come in three colors: Glacier Green, Midnight Black, and Twilight Purple.
