HMD Fuse – a children’s smartphone with a system of protection from unwanted content is presented

HMD has officially unveiled Fuse, a smartphone focused on child safety. The main feature of the device is the HarmBlock+ system based on SafeToNet artificial intelligence. It’s built right into the OS and works across all apps to block the capture or viewing of nude content through the phone’s camera or memory.
In addition, the smartphone has advanced parental controls. Parents can approve or block apps, track a child’s real-time location, view movement history, manage the contact list and other settings.
The Fuse is based on the HMD Fusion model. The smartphone has a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits of brightness. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and is available in a version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via microSD.

For photos and videos, there is a 108 MP main camera with autofocus and a 2 MP depth sensor. The 50 MP front camera is built into a hole in the screen.
HMD Fuse features a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP54 protection, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device runs Android 15 and will receive security updates for three years.
