Google will unveil the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro on October 4

Today, Google announced the date of its next big event. The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will be officially unveiled on October 4.

Google says October 4 will be «the last new products» in its lineup of Pixel devices. That means the Pixel Watch 2 could be unveiled at the same time.

The Pixel 8 Pro is rumored to get a temperature sensor on the back, a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, Tensor G3 chipset, 12GB of RAM, 128/256GB storage, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, triple rear camera (50MP main camera with OIS, 64MP ultra-wide-angle and 48MP telephoto), 11MP selfies and a 4,950mAh battery with 27W wired charging support. Unsurprisingly, it’ll be running Android 14 from day one.
