All the colors of Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro have hit the web

Another day, another leak about Google’s Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro. The latest comes from Android Headlines, which yesterday also leaked a set of specs, design and details about the new Pixel models. In this case, we got a full look at all the color variants of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro with high-resolution renders.
And here we have a full review of all the color variants of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro.

The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro will share the same four colors: porcelain, obsidian, pink, and green. Both phones get a noticeable design change: both devices have flat sides. The Pixel 9 has matte sides and a glossy back panel, while the Pixel 9 Pro has the opposite — glossy metallic sides and a matte back panel. Despite the Pixel 9’s glossy back panel, most of the color options should limit fingerprint visibility unless you’re using a case.

What about the other design changes, they’re somewhat specific and may not appeal to everyone. The Pixel 9 Pro —s matte back panel is great, but it’s surprising that Google didn’t decide to do the same with the Pixel 9 when it did it for the much cheaper Pixel 8a. Because of the camera protrusion, it seems like the phones will lay unevenly on the table, which could lead to unwanted scratches.

The two phones will also feature a new distinctive camera panel, which is actually more of an oval island protruding from the back. Another notable feature of the Pixel 9 Pro — its small size. The screen size is just 6.3 inches, matching the Pixel 9 Actua’s display, which can reach 2,000 nits of peak brightness, making it the smallest flagship released by Google. For fans of smaller phones that don’t strain their fingers, the Pixel 9 Pro will be one of the few options that doesn’t make serious compromises in terms of specs, as the iPhone 13 Mini did.

And speaking of specs. All new Pixel models will feature the Tensor G4 processor. The Pixel 9 will have 12GB of RAM and a rear camera consisting of a 50-megapixel main module and a 48-megapixel ultrazoom, as well as a 10.5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Pixel 9 Pro will get more RAM and better cameras —16GB, as well as a triple camera kit consisting of a 50-megapixel main module, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide and a 48-megapixel telephoto sensor. The front-facing camera is expected to have a 42MP sensor.

We’re still waiting for pricing information at this point, but the Pixel 9 Pro is expected to cost between $899 and $999, making it relatively expensive compared to previous generations. And unlike previous releases, Google will release four devices rather than the usual two. The Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold are expected.

The Made by Google event is just around the corner on August 13, so expect more details soon.
