AnTuTu’s ranking of the most powerful Android smartphones of August 2025 has been published

AnTuTu has unveiled its August ranking of Android flagships, with devices with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition and MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processors still leading the pack. The Qualcomm chip in particular stands out, taking most of the spots in the top 10.
Data was collected between August 1 and August 31, 2025, and only models with more than 1,000 valid results were considered. The table shows averages that more accurately reflect real-world performance than advertised peak values.
First place once again went to the Red Magic 10S Pro+ with a score of 2,947,567 points. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Edition, a version with increased frequencies compared to the standard Extreme Edition. The main core is overclocked to 4.47 GHz (vs. 4.32 GHz), while the GPU frequency has been increased from 1.1 GHz to 1.2 GHz. The device also uses aggressive optimization to get the most out of the chip. This is the fourth consecutive month that the Red Magic 10S Pro+ has held the top spot in the AnTuTu rankings.

The Vivo X200 Ultra (2,899,541 points) sits in second place. Despite its emphasis on photographic capabilities (triple camera with focal lengths of 14mm, 35mm and 85mm, plus 2x ISZ coverage at 28mm and 70mm), the smartphone shows strong performance in gaming and everyday tasks.

Third place went to the iQOO Neo 10 Pro+ (2,875,495 points), continuing the series’ tradition of offering top-end performance at a more affordable price point than classic flagships.
