AnTuTu reveals January 2026 flagship performance ranking – Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 dominates

AnTuTu has released its first flagship smartphone performance ranking of 2026, highlighting the devices with the highest average benchmark scores. In the January list, eight out of the top ten smartphones are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, with the RedMagic 11 Pro+ taking the crown as the overall leader.
The lineup remains largely unchanged from December 2025, as Qualcomm’s new chipset continues its commanding lead. Only two models in the top ten are equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, showing that while Qualcomm holds a clear advantage, MediaTek is still in the game.
It’s important to note that AnTuTu’s rankings are based on average scores recorded throughout the month, not peak performance numbers. Additionally, only devices meeting specific criteria qualify for the list, so flagship rankings can fluctuate from month to month.
