Honor 200 Pro smartphone announced

Honor has unveiled two new smartphone models — the Honor 200 Pro and Honor 200. Both devices have advanced displays, cameras with optical stabilization and fast battery charging. The company also talked about other interesting features of the gadgets and announced their retail prices.

Honor 200 Pro features a 6.78-inch curved OLED screen with a resolution of 2700×1224 pixels. This display has a high PWM frequency (3840 Hz), which prevents flickering and eye fatigue. It also has high peak brightness (up to 4000 nits) and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. At the top of the screen, there’s an oval cutout for the 50MP front camera and secondary sensor.

The main camera consists of a 50MP OmniVision OV50H sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with macro mode, and a module with a 50MP Sony IMX856 sensor and telephoto lens. The smartphone also supports AI portrait photography technology that mimics the Harcourt studio style of photography.

Honor 200 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and has 12/16GB of RAM. The 5200mAh battery supports 100W fast charging and 66W wireless charging. The device runs on MagicOS 8.0 firmware based on Android 14 and has stereo speakers, NFC chip and an under-screen fingerprint scanner. The device measures 163.3×75.2×8.2 mm and weighs — 199 grams.

The Honor 200 has a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 2664×1200 pixels and a single front-facing camera with the same main sensor as the Honor 200 Pro. Performance is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. The main camera is almost identical to that of the Honor 200 Pro, except for the main sensor. The body measures 161.5×74.6×7.7 mm and weighs — 187 grams.
