Xbox has ended its $1 Game Pass promotion ahead of Starfield’s release

Microsoft has ended the last $1 Xbox Game Pass promotion just days before the release of the long-awaited Starfield exclusive. According to XGP, the $1 Game Pass promotion for 14 days disappeared from the Microsoft Store this weekend after being reintroduced in July.

The promotion previously ran for several months until Microsoft discontinued it in March, saying it was «considering various marketing promotions for new members in the future».

Another opt-out occurred days before Starfield’s early access release date — August 31. The standard $70 version of Starfield, which includes the base game, will be available through Xbox Game Pass.
