The June update of Alice and Yandex smart devices has been released

Movie description based on user reviews

In the evenings, we often lose time in choosing a movie. Now it will be easier to decide. Alice from YandexGPT has collected thousands of users’ reviews of movies and TV shows, highlighting the pros and cons. The movie card now displays a description collected from the reviews of real viewers. Deciding whether or not to watch a movie has never been easier.

Museum in your home

Now you can enjoy the masterpieces of the Tretyakov Gallery from the comfort of your home. We have digitized 11 paintings from the permanent exhibition so that you can be closer to art even at home. The high resolution of the TV Station screens will allow you to see the paintings in detail, and Alice will take on the role of a guide – she will tell you about them and answer questions about the author. The package of screensavers is also available on Duo Max Stations – in vertical and horizontal orientation. To plunge into the beautiful, select the theme “My Tretiakovka” and say: “Alice, turn on the screensaver” or “Alice, turn on the screensaver”. When the picture you are interested in appears on the screen, say: “Alice, tell me about the picture”.

Change playback speed by voice

Now you can dive into the world of podcasts, audiobooks, and fairy tales at the speed you want. Just say, “Alice, speed 2” or “Alice, faster/slower.” This feature was already available in the Music and Bookmate apps, and now it’s been added to all Alice-enabled devices.

There’s no need to worry about the speed of Alice.

New video player on YaOS

We’ve updated the video player interface on all TVs running YaOS. The player is now modern and quick to operate. We’ve improved the design and placement of icons to make it easy and convenient to change voiceovers, turn on subtitles, or improve video quality.

Listen to music with the TV Station screen off

Now, if you want the TV Station screen to turn off and the music to keep playing, just say, “Alice, turn off the screen.” You don’t have to make up complicated commands anymore. You can turn off the device completely by simply saying, “Alice, turn off the TV.
