VK Music received the biggest update in the history of the service

The major changes include a redesign of the app and the VKontakte music section, which are now unified in style. Updates have been made to key sections, the recommendation system, and subscription options.
The app’s home screen now features two popular sections: VK Mix with personalized recommendations and My Tracks, which contains all the songs you’ve added. You can switch between them with a single swipe. There are also new settings in VK Mix, and the player has an updated interface.
The improved recommendation system has become more accurate and faster to adapt to music preferences after listening to several tracks. Users now add tracks from VK Mix to their playlists 40% more often. The recommendations section also includes the ability to customize music streaming by mood: “active,” “sad,” “calm,” “happy,” and “love,” as well as by recognizability and language.
An improved recommendation system is now available.

One of the interesting new features is the gyroscopic effect on the home screen, which reacts to smartphone rotations and adds interactive animations, creating a new visual experience.

VK Music previously introduced a snippet feature for quick searches – a key snippet of a 35-second track helps users decide if they like the song and add it to a playlist if they want to.

Subscriptions to the service have also been expanded. New subscription options are now available, including a family subscription for two, a student subscription, and from October there will be an option for up to four people to join.
