Tourists will be able to see all information about beaches in Yandex Travels

Travel will help beach vacationers to better navigate the coast of the Krasnodar Region. Useful information about seaside vacations is displayed in the app in the “My Trip” section when booking a hotel in Sochi, Adler, Sirius, Gelendzhik, Anapa, Tuapse, Dzhubga, Novorossiysk, Taman, Temryuk and Vityazevo.

Users can view a map of beaches selected by the service based on high average score and number of reviews. Details about each beach are given: whether it’s sand or pebbles, whether there are sun beds, showers and changing cabins, and what entertainment is available on the beach.

Any of the beaches can be found on the map.

You can gauge whether a beach is crowded by using video from the city’s cameras, which transmit data in real time. You can also plot a route from your hotel to a selected beach.

The section contains Yandex Weather data based on Meteum’s proprietary forecasting technology. They show water temperature, wind strength, wave height, UV index, sunrise and sunset times. This will help tourists plan a trip to the beach so that the vacation is comfortable, and also not to miss the time for the best photos. The weather information appears 10 days in advance for travel.
