Google Maps on Android – display weather in the current location

Google Maps navigation on Android will soon display the weather at the current location.

«A new weather tile will appear below the search tooltip carousel. Clicking on it will open a new window with more detailed information for hours ahead and a button to view air quality»— as Google News tells us.

For iOS customers, this feature has been available for about 4 years now, but Android customers are only getting it now.
