On September 4, 2025, users from around the world are reportingbmoia with Google’s services – pages open with a long delay or don’t load at all. We are talking about search, analytics, Google Discover, Gmail, YouTube and other products. Authorization service, Google Drive, and partially document services — Docs and Sheets don’t work.”

With this background, the official Google Workspace Status Dashboard simply won’t open. Which is indicative of a global outage, since when only a fraction of services are affected, the status dashboard can be viewed. There is a similar picture on the Google Cloud Service Health summary. It looks like a global failure of all Google services around the world.

At the same time, there are complaints on social networks about delays in the delivery of emails in Gmail – emails “hang” in the queue for hours. Sometimes they are sent, sometimes not. In recent months, Google Cloud has already experienced large-scale outages that affected third-party services; in June, the company admitted to a brief global incident.
We’ll update this story if there’s official confirmation or clarification from Google.
