Taiwan-based V-Color has announced the world’s first DDR5 RAM of the new CUDIMM standard. It promises high speed performance, as well as the ability to dynamically adjust frequency and voltage based on load, which should improve energy efficiency.

The new CUDIMM standard is the first DDR5 RAM in the world.

The CUDIMM (Clocked Unbuffered Dual In-Line Memory Module) standard was officially approved by the JEDEC committee in January this year. One of its key benefits is the introduction of a CKD (Client Clock Driver) clock, which should improve memory stability and overclocking performance.

According to V-Color, the new memory can operate at speeds up to 9200 MT/s with timings of 44-56-56-134 at 1.45V. The manufacturer has also utilized a patented heatsink design for more efficient heat dissipation from the modules.
