CableMod 12VHPWR V1.1 – improved power supply for RTX 40

CableMod announces a new version of their famous 12VHPWR power adapter. Version 1.1 comes with a number of improvements over its predecessor. The first of these is that it offers a 12V-2 × 6 connector.
This version also offers us a CEM 5.1 standard socket connector, improved sealing of the socket connector and eliminated wiggle between the PCB and the plug connector.

Otherwise, the other two improvements made by the brand are mechanical. CableMod announces: the male connector will be further tightened and the side play of the adapter will be eliminated.
Some of the advantages of the adapter include compactness: since the cable doesn’t bend when plugged in, there’s no need to comply with bend radius requirements, which can cause a problem with the side cover closing and contact failure with subsequent overheating and melting.
