AMD is preparing to launch the Radeon RX 9070 graphics card

After months of rumors and anticipation, Nvidia has finally unveiled its new line of graphics cards. Now AMD is gearing up for a return move. During a recent earnings conference call, the company’s CEO Dr. Lisa Su said that the Radeon RX 9070 will be released very soon.

Amazon RX 9070 will be released very soon.

On the quarterly earnings conference call, Dr. Su noted:

“In the Gaming Graphics Solutions segment, revenue declined year-over-year as we accelerated sales of current inventory in anticipation of the launch of the next generation of Radeon 9000 graphics cards. Our goal with this generation is to reach the most mass-market segment of the gaming market with our new RDNA 4 architecture.”

RDNA 4 will offer significantly improved ray tracing performance and support for AI upscaling technologies, making high-quality 4K gaming accessible to a wide range of gamers.

Lisa Su says the first Radeon 9070 series graphics cards will go on sale in early March. The phrase “on sale” means the devices will be physically available on store shelves.

So the first Radeon 9070 series graphics cards will be available in early March.

If AMD maintains this schedule, pre-orders could start as early as late February or even earlier. Given the high demand for Nvidia graphics cards, it’s worth keeping a close eye on when pre-orders open so you don’t miss your chance to get your hands on the Radeon RX 9070 before they become scarce.

Amazon’s Radeon RX 9070s are in short supply.
