Steam Deck OLED will go on sale on November 16

Valve released the Steam Deck handheld gaming PC in 2021, and now they’ve decided to update it. You can tell from the title of the news what the update is related to. The new console has gotten an OLED screen, instead of the LCD display used in the original model.

Steam Deck OLED will become available for purchase on November 16. You can get it with 512GB of storage for $549 or 1TB of storage for $649. There’s also a more budget-friendly version, with 256GB of flash storage, for $399.

The new Steam Deck OLED has a 1280×800 resolution at 7.4 inches, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 6nm processor, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. A 50Wh battery is responsible for the device’s battery life, which should be enough for 3-12 hours of gameplay, which Steam says is 30-50% more than the LCD model.
