Death Stranding 2: On the Beach – Event recap at TGS 2024 and new footage
By ForGeeks On a special stage at Tokyo Game Show 2024, publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Kojima Productions unveiled fresh information and footage of the game Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Event «Photo Shoot»
The event introduced the «Photoshoot« feature, in which the player can take photos of characters using the instant camera. A separate «Photo Mode« will also be available in the game. Another element of the event was a performance by singer Daichi Miura. By performing certain actions in the «Private Room», the player will be able to watch Miura, along with a group of Dollmen, perform a new song «Horizon Dreamer» specially created for the game. Release Date
At the end of the event, Hideo Kojima commented on the game’s release date: «While we haven’t announced an exact release date yet, we already have one planned. Production is on track, but there are factors that could affect the release date…We’ve talked about 2025, so the game will come out next year. The exact date will be announced next year.»
