ZTE has officially launched its new XunTian BE3600Pro router in China, priced at 199 yuan ($28). The device is focused on providing next-generation network connectivity and long-term reliability in the budget segment. The company is positioning the BE3600Pro as a high-performance solution for home users looking to upgrade to Wi-Fi 7 without significant expense.

The router runs on the fourth generation of ZTE’s own enterprise chipset. It features a dual-core CPU and quad-core NPU for efficient two-way processing. The main control chip and Wi-Fi module operate independently, which reduces standby power consumption to 0.8W. ZTE estimates that this is equivalent to an annual electricity cost of only about 4 yuan ($0.56).

BE3600Pro gets one 2.5G Ethernet port and three gigabit ports, allowing full gigabit connections up to 2000Mbps. It supports dual WAN ingress, load balancing and auto-switching for stable network performance. It also supports IPTV multiplexing, allowing you to transmit Internet and IPTV over the same cable.

The antennas are designed in a 2+3 pattern using artificial intelligence algorithms that reduce interference and provide more uniform coverage. ZTE claims that this approach increases signal uniformity by 7.43% compared to conventional routers. The BE3600Pro supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz) and utilizes Wi-Fi 7 features including Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and 4K QAM to deliver speeds of up to 3.57 Gbps – about 49% faster than typical Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 routers.

A larger heatsink is used for cooling, which increases the heat dissipation area by 18%. The router is integrated with the Smart Life app, which provides AI-guided guidance for optimal installation, parental controls and blacklist settings.

The model supports one-click Mesh networking with both ZTE routers and third-party brand devices. Built-in AI automatically assigns the optimal node for each device, but users can manually assign a connection to a specific access point.

The BE3600Pro has undergone more than 40,000 hours of lab testing, including durability and extreme conditions tests, according to ZTE. The company has also added a bonus for gamers – up to 185 days of free game acceleration through NetEase UU and Youbangbang services.
