Xiaomi has announced a foldable steamer – Mijia Handheld Garment Steamer 2
By ForGeeks Fundraising for the Mijia Handheld Garment Steamer 2 has begun on Xiaomi’s crowdfunding platform. Its appeal lies in its powerful heating element and ingenious design, which find harmony with its affordable price and iron function.
The branded steamer can be used both vertically and horizontally. According to the manufacturer, the device will be ready to use in just 26 seconds after plugging it in. It produces steam at 0.3 bar and has a 160ml water tank, enough to smooth six shirts.
The Xiaomi company claims that the novelty will not leave wet marks on clothes and effectively sterilizes them at 99.9%. Other features of the model include a light weight (730 grams), an aluminum working part covered with ceramic glaze, and a foldable design.

The Mijia Handheld Garment Steamer 2 is available during the fundraising phase for $15 (Rmb1,400), and will cost $20 (Rmb1,850) once it goes on sale.
