Xiaomi has unveiled a smart mattress pad

Xiaomi has unveiled the Mijia Plumbing Blanket, a smart mattress pad with heating and sterilization functions. The novelty is available on Xiaomi Youpin’s crowdfunding platform.

Pre-orders will start being taken on October 18, with a recommended retail price of — $68. The kit includes an external unit with water heating and tubes to heat your legs and feet. Power output of the external unit — 400 watts, operating noise — no more than 25 dB. The mattress cover is not afraid of getting wet and has «eleven times protection». The device supports remote control via the Mijia app. Mites can be cleaned within 2 hours when heated to 65°C.
