Russia has created a device for transferring games from Switch cartridges to microSD – MIG Switch

One of the major inconveniences with physical media is that it’s at risk of breakage or loss. While CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays can still be easily copied, this is much more difficult with Nintendo Switch cartridges. However, with the introduction of the MIG Switch device, there’s now a way to avoid this problem.
The MIG Switch is now a way to avoid this problem.
Russia has created a device called the MIG Switch, which allows users to write data from any games to a microSD card. Users can use it to create copies of video games that have been purchased at retail. Unfortunately, this device does not support backup of digital purchases. At least for the time being.
At least for now.
The MIG Switch device is compatible with any Nintendo Switch model and requires no modifications to the console. The developers assure that Nintendo won’t be able to block their creation from the outside, as it’s made primarily for honest users who bought their cartridges legally. There’s still a possible threat of a ban, though – you’d have to run the original copy of the game and its clone on two internet-connected consoles. It’s best to avoid this.
