TP-Link announced TL-7DR6430 router with Wi-Fi 7 and gamer mode

TP-Link has announced the release of a new router model, the TL-7DR6430. Designed for home and small office use, this budget solution supports Wi-Fi 7 and offers advanced features, including a dedicated gaming mode.
The device offers up to 6,430 Mbps of total throughput across all supported bands. Switching capabilities include a universal WAN/LAN port (2.5 Gbps) and three LAN ports with 1 Gbps each. The manufacturer emphasizes the router’s ability to be used for network attached storage (NAS) and fast data transfer on a local network.

TP-Link TL-7DR6430 supports 4T5R configuration, EasyMesh protocol and easy integration with IoT devices from the same manufacturer. For gaming enthusiasts, there’s a separate LAN port optimized for gaming and support for four built-in services that accelerate gaming: NetEase UU, Thunder, Youbangbang, and Qiyou.
The TL-7DR6430 supports 4TR configuration, EasyMesh protocol, and integration with the vendor’s IoT devices.
In addition, the router features access control for kids and business-grade wireless authentication. An important advantage is the advanced antenna system, which is optimized through artificial intelligence algorithms.

The TP-Link TL-7DR6430 costs $28 (Rmb2,200) on the Chinese market. There’s no information about the device’s availability in other countries yet.
