TCL released AR glasses with iPad Pro displays and 3D sound

RayNeo has officially unveiled a new generation of AR glasses in China – the Air 3s and Air 3s Pro models. Both new products are already available on JD.com at a price of 1,499 yuan (≈$205) and 1,599 yuan (≈$220) respectively. The devices feature a premium design, ultra-lightweight body and displays with technology similar to that used in Apple’s latest iPad Pro.

Lightweight, flexible and adaptive

The RayNeo Air 3s AR glasses weigh only 76 grams and feature a folding design with soft, adjustable nose rests and nine-position adjustable temples. This design reduces pressure on the bridge of the nose and increases comfort for extended wear.

Each screen features a 0.6-inch, 5.5-generation Micro-OLED display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 in 2D and 3840 × 1080 in 3D. These screens use a dual-layer OLED structure similar to the one used by Apple. Brightness reaches up to 1200 nits, and 20 levels of adjustment are supported.

High definition, color reproduction and comfort

The refresh rate is 60Hz with the option to switch to 120Hz. The screen covers 145% of the sRGB and 98% of the DCI-P3 color space, has a 200000:1 contrast ratio and ΔE < 2 color accuracy. 3840Hz PWM dimming and TÜV Rheinland blue light and flicker protection certification are available to reduce eye fatigue.

The eyewear integrates Peacock Optical Engine 2.0, a proprietary optical engine that increases brightness and reduces light scattering by 15% compared to previous models. Five color modes are supported: Standard, Cinema, Game, Eye Care, and Vivid.
