The second generation of DJI Mic 2 wireless microphone has been announced

More than two years after the introduction of the DJI Mic, the company has announced the second generation of its wireless microphone. Key improvements include noise reduction using artificial intelligence, longer battery life, and the ability to record audio with 32-bit bitrate.
At the same time, DJI Mic is now available in a new generation.
One of the key changes for the DJI Mic 2 is direct connection to a smartphone, as well as the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and Action Cam 4 via Bluetooth without the need for a receiver. Mic battery life has been extended to 6 hours, and the included charging case provides up to 18 hours of battery life (instead of 15 hours in the previous generation).

The microphones are now a bit more compact and have been given a transparent body in gray and white. It comes with a clip for attaching to clothing, a magnetic mount, and a 3.5mm jack. The power and sync buttons are on one side, while the record button and USB Type-C port are on the other side. The power indicator has been moved to the side for convenience when taking pictures. The microphone has a 1.1-inch touchscreen and a wheel for navigating the interface. It also comes with USB Type-C and Lightning adapters for direct connection to smartphones.
The DJI Mic 2 supports dual-channel recording, allowing you to record audio from two sources simultaneously. The device has 8GB of internal memory, which can store up to 14 hours of uncompressed 24-bit, 48kHz audio. Also of note is the Safety Track feature, which allows you to create a second audio track with a -6dB reduction in level along with the main track, providing a safety net in case of problems with the first track.
The DJI Mic 2 has a maximum audio transmission range of up to 250 meters in open terrain with line of sight between the receiver and transmitter.
