The new model also boasts improved build quality, with an IP67 water and dust resistance rating instead of the predecessor’s IP53.
SmartTag2 also gets a Lost Mode for pet owners. You can enter your contact information (phone number) into the gadget, and if your pet gets lost, the finder can scan the tag with an NFC-enabled phone and it will automatically display the owner’s contact information. SmartTag 2 also supports the new Pet Walk Mode, which makes it easier to log pet walks.

The SmartThings Find app has also gotten an update and now displays a full-screen map with an updated interface and allows you to locate the SmartTag2 with your phone’s camera using Bluetooth LE, UWB and augmented reality technologies.
The gadget will be available to us for $30 (3,000 rubles). You can also complement your purchase with a silicone case.
