Rogbid has officially released the Apex K GPS smartwatch, timing the launch to coincide with the annual Double 11 shopping festival. The new product is aimed at outdoor enthusiasts and features improved navigation accuracy, a more ruggedized case, and a larger display. The watch is available at a starting price of $59.99.

Rogbid Apex K features a square 2.13-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 410×502 pixels, encased in a rugged military-standard case with 5ATM level water resistance. The watch has a built-in LED flashlight for easy use in the dark.

The main advantage of the new product — support for dual-band positioning and six global satellite systems: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, QZSS and India’s NavIC. With GPS Path Orbit, the device accurately records your route, while Trackback helps you get back to your starting point. It also includes a digital compass and barometric altimeter for more accurate navigation in rough terrain.

The watch gets a redesigned button layout, with keys on the right side to activate the screen and return to the menu, and on the left — a separate GPS quick launch button.

Apex K supports multiple sport modes and automatically recognizes five types of activity: walking, running, cycling, elliptical trainer and rowing. A new swimming mode has also been added, which works with a multi-axis motion sensor to improve data accuracy. The manufacturer claims the device is capable of up to 40 days of standby time.

In addition to sports capabilities, the watch supports Bluetooth calling, message notifications, and health monitoring features — heart rate measurement and sleep tracking. The Apex K is available in two colors: Starmist Silver and Deepwood Black.
