Redmi Smart TV X 2025: new line of TVs with 4K 144Hz screens

Xiaomi has announced a new Redmi Smart TV X 2025 series of smart TVs, offering high-quality features at an affordable price. The lineup includes four diagonals – 55, 65, 75 and 85 inches, suitable for different types of rooms.

- Display: All models feature a 4K display with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, and support a 240Hz refresh rate, making them ideal for gaming. HDR and AI-SR Super Resolution technology is also supported, which enhances lower resolution content to near 4K. MEMC motion compensation minimizes blurring in dynamic scenes.
- Color reproduction: Wide color gamut with 94% DCI-P3 coverage and professional color accuracy (ΔE≈2) ensure excellent picture quality. The TVs are equipped with Xiaomi «Qingshan Eye Care» technology, which reduces eye strain, as confirmed by Chinese health standards.
- Performance: The devices are powered by a MediaTek MT9655 quad-core Cortex-A73 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Wi-Fi 6 is supported for fast and stable connectivity.
- Connectivity: The TVs have three HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC support), and support variable refresh rate (VRR) and low-latency mode (ALLM). There’s also Bluetooth 5.2, S/PDIF, LAN, AV input, and two USB ports (1x USB 3.0 and 1x USB 2.0).
- Sound: The system consists of two speakers of 25W each with Dolby Vision and DTS support, promising an immersive audiovisual experience.
- Software: The TVs run on Xiaomi’s new HyperOS system with support for Xiao Ai AI assistant and integration with Mi Home app for smart home management. It also supports NFC for fast screen mirroring from compatible smartphones.
