Red Magic has released two cyberpunk-inspired powerbanks

Red Magic has announced new Dao Magnetic Power Bank external batteries. The new products are available in two variants – 5000 mAh and 10000 mAh capacity. They support Qi2 wireless charging (up to 15W), have a built-in cable, and come in a transparent case with a cyberpunk aesthetic.

The two powerbanks feature a translucent case with carbon fiber elements and an anodized aircraft aluminum frame. The thickness is just 8mm for the 5000mAh version and 14mm for the 10000mAh version – pretty compact for those specs. Complementing the look is a 60-degree beveled edge that enhances the grip and overall appearance of the device.

The Apple-level cobalt-lithium cells inside are used, offering up to 81% energy efficiency and 50% longer life than conventional batteries. The younger model supports up to 20W of fast charging via the built-in USB-C cable (it also acts as a lanyard). The older version delivers up to 45W via USB-C PD – enough to charge an iPhone 16 to 60% in about 30 minutes.

The powerbanks are Qi2 certified, providing full 15-watt fast charging for MagSafe-enabled devices. A high-strength (14N) magnet ring is used for secure attachment, keeping your device in place even when you’re on the move.

A five-layer thermal protection and AI temperature monitoring chip are used to prevent overheating. This is especially important when charging wirelessly while gaming or navigating. The devices are 3C certified in China and feature nine levels of protection, including overvoltage, overheating, short-circuit and magnetic interference protection.

The 5,000mAh Powerbank is priced at $32, while the 10,000mAh version is priced at $42.
