Realme will release the Buds Air 5 on August 23rd

The Realme 11 series was unveiled back in May, with the Buds Air 5 Pro headphones sharing the same stage as them. Today we’ve learned that these wearable audio devices will first hit the international market on August 23 — they’ll be launched in India alongside the 11 5G and 11x 5G smartphone models.

Not even two days after the company first announced that the Buds Air 5 Pro would be coming to India, today we’ve seen another case with a different size, LED arrangement and trendy blue color — undoubtedly the base Buds Air 5, the likely successor to the Buds Air 3.

Buds Air 5 Pro feature 11mm woofers and 6mm planar drivers, ANC, and support high-bitrate LDAC codec. They’re splash-proof against sweat and rain, and with six microphones (three on each bud), Realme claims they can isolate up to 50dB of noise. Battery life is 11 hours with the ANC off, or 40 hours with the charging case.
