Razer has released its first vertical mouse – and it’s not for gamers

Razer, known for its gaming devices, is making another attempt to gain a foothold in the productivity segment. This time with a pair of new office mice, one of which is the first vertical model in the brand’s history. Both the Razer Pro Click V2 and Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical are on sale now, priced at $100 and $120, respectively.
If you’ve come to associate Razer exclusively with RGB backlighting and ultra-sensitive sensors for cybersports, it’s time to reconsider. The new devices are aimed at users who spend long hours at their computers and are looking for ergonomics, comfort, and versatility without sacrificing performance.
Vertical Format for Productivity

The flagship of the new lineup is the Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical, a mouse with a 71.7-degree tilt that puts the hand in an anatomically correct “handshake” position. This approach reduces wrist strain and is suitable for extended use – Razer was clearly inspired by solutions like the Logitech MX Vertical.
- Sensor at 30,000 DPI, which is atypical for office solutions,
- Circular RGB backlight with notification support via Razer Chroma,
- Connectivity via USB-C, Bluetooth and 2.4GHz
- Up to 6 months of operation on a single charge.
There are also additional thumb buttons at both the top and bottom of the fulcrum.
Standard design with an office accent

The second new product, the Razer Pro Click V2, looks more familiar – a classic symmetrical body with an ergonomic thumb rest and two side buttons. However, there are also office “features”: a special switch above the wheel allows you to switch to the free scrolling mode – useful for working with long documents or tables, as in Logitech MX Master.
The specs are the same, except for battery life: the Pro Click V2 lasts up to 3.5 months without charging. Both models are available only in black and are on sale now through the official Razer store.
