Panasonic has unveiled the new 77-inch 77Z8BA OLED TV, which joins the brand’s premium lineup along with the Z95A and Z95B models. Pre-orders will start on October 27, 2025, and the TV will go on sale in mid-November. It combines advanced picture quality, powerful audio and smart features.

The 77Z8BA is based on the HCX Pro AI Processor MK II and features a Master OLED Pro Cinema Size panel, a combination that delivers enhanced brightness, deep contrast and accurate color reproduction &#8212 parameters calibrated with Panasonic’s experience working with Hollywood studios. Dolby Vision IQ Precision Detail technology automatically adjusts brightness based on room lighting, preserving the depth and clarity of each scene. The processor also uses AI to remaster content in 4K, improving the clarity of streaming video and reducing noise.

The 360 Soundscape Pro system, customized by Technics engineers and augmented with Dolby Atmos support, is responsible for the sound. It creates a three-dimensional, movie-theater sound with clear voices and rich bass.

The TV has a built-in Fire TV platform that brings together streaming services, TV channels and personalized recommendations on one screen. The device can be controlled by voice via the built-in Alexa — no remote, just commands. Alexa smart home control and Fire TV Ambient Experience, which turns the screen into a digital gallery or photo frame, are also supported. Apple Home and AirPlay compatibility lets you stream content from your Apple devices and use Siri voice commands.

For professional picture adjustment, the TV supports Calman and ISFccc calibration tools with 3D LUTs for maximum color accuracy. It also supports the NEXTGEN TV standard (ATSC 3.0) for enhanced broadcast quality and interactive features.

True Game Mode optimizes color and contrast, while separate sound profiles for RPGs and shooters create an even more immersive experience. In the US, the Panasonic 77Z8BA OLED TV will cost $2,499, while the 77-inch Z95B model is priced at $4,699. No global launch has yet been announced by the company.
