Microsoft announced the Xbox Astral Purple wireless controller
By ForGeeks Microsoft has officially announced a new color for the Xbox controller. Confirming a previous leak, the Astral Purple wireless controller is available for pre-order now for $64.99 before it goes on sale Sept. 19.

The controller can connect to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles, PCs, cell phones and tablets via Bluetooth and Xbox Wireless. Microsoft has already unveiled at least seven new Xbox controller designs for 2023.

The blue and purple Stellar Shift controller was introduced and released in February, and in March — the Velocity Green controller. March also saw the red and blue versions of the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. A peach and pastel blue-themed Sunkissed Vibes controller was released in May, and in June — a limited edition Starfield controller. And last month, the Stormcloud Vapor Xbox Series X/S controller was released.
