Pendant is a clip with a magnetic attachment for wearing on clothing. The device promises up to 100 hours of battery life from a single charge. Inside the device is a directional microphone that captures ambient sounds while ignoring background noise.
The company notes that recording won’t start without the consent of the other person in the conversation. Pendant is designed for students and business people to help them further analyze lectures or business meetings.
The gadget will be available in eight different body colors starting August 2024, priced at $99 (RUB 9,300). Users will be able to record up to 10 hours per month for free, and for $19 (RUB 1,790) a year will get unlimited cloud storage.
