Samsung and LG will be the suppliers of OLED screens for the new Apple iPad Pro

According to recent reports, Apple is planning an imminent release of new iPad Pro models, which is likely to take place by the end of next month with a lot of changes. According to insiders, the company will make significant changes to the design and form factor of the device, so the tablets will get a larger display diagonal and become larger in size. It’s worth noting that the main improvement to the devices will be the OLED display, Samsung and LG will be the suppliers of the OLED screens of the new Apple iPad Pro: Samsung will exclusively produce 11-inch panels, while LG will be responsible for supplying 13-inch panels to Apple.

Samsung is believed to have already received the first orders for the 11-inch OLED display for the iPad Pro and started production. Apple’s decision to split production of OLED panels for the iPad Pro between two suppliers may be aimed at overcoming potential yield issues and capacity constraints. Otherwise, one company may have problems with the task at hand. At the moment, users are already reluctant to buy tablets, let alone shortages.
