ONYX BOOX Kant 2 compact reader is now available in Russia

A new ONYX BOOX Kant 2 reader has appeared on the shelves of Russian stores. The main feature of this new product is its compact body, which is close in shape and size to a smartphone. In addition, the device has a large memory capacity and supports multiple wireless connectivity options.
ONYX BOOX Kant 2 features a 6-inch E-Ink Carta display with a resolution of 824×1648 pixels, a 2:1 aspect ratio and touch controls. Like the company’s other readers, it features Moon Light 2 backlighting, which allows for smooth color temperature control and eliminates flicker. Snow Field reduces artifacts when the screen refreshes, and ONYX Glass protects the screen from damage.
The reader is based on a quad-core chip with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of permanent memory. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules are available for wireless connectivity, and there’s also a USB Type-C port for wired connectivity.
The ONYX BOOX Kant 2 runs the Android 11 operating system, which includes the RuStore app store, Bookmate, an audio player, and text-to-speech conversion for voicing text files. The reader is also pre-installed with two system reading apps: AlReaderX Pro and NeoReader, and supports a wide range of file formats.
ONYX BOOX Kant 2 is already available for purchase at the price of 21,990 rubles. It comes with a case and USB cable.
