The Q1HE’s body is made of aluminum alloy: anodized in black and powder-coated in white. The keyboard uses Gasket Mount technology to reduce noise and features Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Nebula linear switches. Thanks to the Hall effect, the key travel can be adjusted from 0.2 to 3.8mm.

The keycaps are made of PBT plastic with a double molding process, and their backlighting can be customized with RGB LEDs. The keyboard can be connected to a PC via Type-C cable, radio (2.4GHz), or Bluetooth. Keychron Q1HE supports QMK firmware and Keychron’s customization utility.
