Xiaomi Outdoor Camera CW400 released on the Russian market

Xiaomi Outdoor Camera CW400 is a balanced model with well thought-out functionality, which is adapted to work in outdoor conditions. The camera body is IP66 waterproof, so you’ll be able to work consistently even in the pouring rain. In addition, it can withstand extremely low and high temperatures – the operating range varies from -30 to 60°C. Installation does not require special skills and equipment. Available in 3 ways: ceiling, wall or pole mount. Two built-in high-gain antennas ensure stable data transmission.
If we talk about the functions related directly to video surveillance, there are several aspects worth mentioning here. First of all, the 4MP high resolution, F1.6 lens and high-performance CMOS sensor provide excellent image quality with vivid colors. At night, infrared sensors help to keep the clarity of the video. It is possible to activate the full-color night vision mode thanks to the built-in LED backlight. Wide viewing angles (360° horizontally and 160° vertically) allow you to capture as much space as possible in the camera’s field of view.
The model is equipped with a “Timelapse” mode, which allows you to take photos at a fixed interval and then combine the photos, converting them into a video clip. This feature allows you to view events that occurred within 30 minutes or an hour in no more than 1 minute. You can capture a beautiful sunset or the blooming of flowers at sunrise in a short video.
Thanks to AI algorithms, the camera recognizes people and instantly sends a notification to your smartphone in the MiHome app. This helps to significantly reduce false alarms. When an unknown person is detected in the surveillance area, the device automatically sounds an audible alarm with flashing lights to deter intruders. Another important feature is the ability to contact those left at home at any time using the highly sensitive two-way microphone.
Xiaomi Outdoor Camera CW400 integrates with the smart home system and is controlled via the MiHome mobile app in the Russia region.
