By ForGeeks Ideco has released a new version of Ideco UTM 15.7 designed for the public sector and companies with sensitive information. The updates, based on the Linux 6.1 kernel, improve system performance and security.
The system allows the use of the advanced intrusion prevention rule base from «Kaspersky Lab» for additional protection. The ability to balance traffic to multiple servers using reverse proxy improves performance and stability of web resources. The system supports passing multicast traffic using IGMP Proxy and integrates with native OS and Samba DC-based domains. Speaking of which, added support for WCCP L2/L3 for filtering redirected web traffic and integration with «Multifactor» service for multi-factor authentication. The L7 filtering module has been updated with the addition of new protocols and improved application detection for increased control and system security.
