Huawei unveiled a compact 100W powerbank with a built-in cable

Huawei has launched a new accessory in China, a versatile 100W powerbank that combines speed and portability. It premiered alongside the announcement of the Mate XTs, FreeBuds 7i and Mate TV Pro, strengthening the company’s ecosystem.
The new product is officially named Huawei 100W 12000 all-in-one power bank with built-in cable. The device features a 12,000 mAh battery and costs around $56. The powerbank has a built-in USB-C cable and an additional USB-C port, allowing you to charge two devices at the same time. In single mode, either port is capable of delivering a full 100W – enough to charge the Mate 70 or Mate X6 to 85% in about 30 minutes. When two devices are connected, power is distributed as 66W + 40W or 88W + 18W, depending on the load.

Huawei has also taken care of safety, with overheat, overvoltage and short-circuit protection, while a real-time monitoring system keeps an eye on the temperature. There are four charge indicator LEDs on the side edge, and Huawei smartphone owners can track the status via a proprietary app.

With dimensions of 130.6 × 68.4 × 15.7 mm and a weight of 237 grams, the device remains fairly compact for its class. It’s available in black and white and is already 3C (China), CE (European Union), and CB certified for airplane travel.
Sales in China will start on September 26, but Huawei hasn’t announced an international launch yet.
