Google Pixel Watch will be released later this year along with the Pixel 8

The Google Fitbit lineup is updated every two years. According to an industry source, the company is transitioning to an annual cycle of Pixel Watch releases. A new Pixel Watch is expected, which will likely be called the Pixel Watch 2. They will presumably be released along with the Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro later this year.

The Pixel Watch is expected to be available in the future.

If experience is to be believed, the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro are due out in October. The only exception is the Pixel 5, which was unveiled in September.

We still don’t have any details about the Pixel Watch 2. However, some speculation suggests that the overall design is unlikely to change much, just be improved. We can hope for a larger display and smaller bezels. Perhaps a similar design also means that the watch strap attachment mechanism will remain the same, allowing users to use the current Pixel Watch straps. As for the internals, we may see an appearance of the Snapdragon W5+ with its 4nm manufacturing process.

The Google I/O event is scheduled for May 10, where the Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold are likely to debut. The company may also offer some teasers and more information about other devices, such as the Pixel Watch 2.
