Gigabyte released an expansion card with Wi-Fi 7 module

Gigabyte has introduced a PCIe expansion network card that supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3. This allows the advanced technology to be used on older motherboards. It’s worth noting that Wi-Fi 7 doesn’t have much market demand yet, but the technology is evolving.

Gigabyte has demonstrated motherboards with Wi-Fi 7 support, including the GC-WIFI7. The GC-WIFI7 has extensive Wi-Fi 7 connectivity on older systems. The module utilizes up to 320MHz bandwidth at 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz. GC-WIFI7 can deliver high data rates of up to 5.8 Gbps. The card also supports Multi-Link Operation (MLA) technology to connect to multiple bands simultaneously.
