DJI announced a compact and powerful Mic Mini microphone

DJI has introduced a new addition to its line of wireless microphones, the Mic Mini. This model is more compact than the previous Mic and Mic 2 versions, while retaining all the features and improved autonomy.
Compact and convenient design of Mic Mini
.
The new Mic Mini wireless microphone comes with two transmitters that can be attached to clothing with a magnetic mount or clip. The device is designed to be not only compact and lightweight, but also as discreet as possible without attracting unnecessary attention. The kit also includes wind guards that can be used in windy conditions.

Connectivity and compatibility with various devices
The Mic Mini receiving device can be connected to a variety of devices including cameras, smartphones, tablets and computers. USB-C or 3.5mm TRS connectors are used for connection. For example, when connected to a smartphone, you can charge the transmitter while also charging the phone itself through its USB port. You can also connect the transmitters directly to a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth, or to DJI devices in the Osmo ecosystem such as the Osmo Action 4 Pro, Osmo Action 4 or Osmo Pocket 3, without the need for a receiver.
Innovative noise reduction and safety features
DJI Mic Mini is equipped with a noise reduction system with two levels. You can choose a basic level for recording indoors with low noise (such as from fans and air conditioners), or a stronger noise reduction for recording outdoors. There’s also an auto limit function that adjusts the recording volume to prevent distortion. Additionally, you can record a spare track that is 6dB quieter than the main track and can be used if the main track is too loud and clipping.

Long battery life and easy charging
The Mic Mini receiver can work with two transmitters simultaneously, recording two separate tracks or combining them in mono or stereo mode. There’s a 5-step gain knob for easy customization.
The standard kit includes a charging case that allows you to charge two transmitters and one receiver up to 3.6 times, giving you up to 48 hours of use of the unit. The transmitters themselves have a run time of 11.5 hours and the receiver has a run time of 10.5 hours. Fast charging in 5 minutes allows you to use the microphones and receiver for about an hour.
Price and Availability
The standard DJI Mic Mini kit costs $169, but a basic kit with a single transmitter and receiver is also available for $89. Additional transmitters can be purchased for $59, and an adapter for devices with a Lightning connector costs $19.
DJI Mic Mini is available for purchase starting today on DJI’s official website and other retailers.
