Withings has unveiled the BeamO, an innovative device that looks like a non-contact thermometer but combines multiple functions to measure key health indicators.
BeamO has the ability to measure body temperature, blood oxygen levels, conduct ECGs and use a stethoscope. The collected data can be easily sent to your doctor as a file. You only need to press one key to switch between functions.

Despite having a small display that shows all the information, a companion app is required for certain functions, including using a stethoscope. According to Withings, the battery will last for several months of use.
Withings notes that the BeamO can be a useful tool for basic patient screening and can even detect atrial fibrillation.
The Health Mate app’s capabilities have also been refined. Now up to eight users at a time can track medication intake. There’s also the ability to log symptoms that signal the need to take a reading. This data can then be exported, including live audio from a stethoscope.
The BeamO “multiscope” costs $249.95 (22,700 rubles). Sales will start in June 2024. The authors of the project are required to get approval from the FDA before sales can begin.
