Casio releases “unbreakable” G-SHOCK Rangeman watch with smart functions

The Rangeman series is designed specifically for those who work or vacation in extreme environments, so all models are protected against dust, dirt, water and shock. The new models also feature GPS and Bluetooth connectivity, a heart rate monitor, and a solar panel to charge the battery away from power outlets.
The watch allows data to be transferred to the Casio Watches mobile app, where users can get stats on heart rate monitoring, running index, training load, energy consumption and more. The watch’s recognizable capsule design is made more stylish by metal inserts on the sides, which also serve to protect the GPS antenna and other sensors.
Other features of the new models, which differ only in color, include a durable polymer strap that can withstand water sports, as well as thermometer and barometer functions.
The Casio G-SHOCK GPRH1000-9 and GPRH1000-1 watches (yellow and black case, respectively) will be available for purchase on January 19 for $500 (44 900 rubles).
