Audio-Technica introduced the limited edition ATH-M50x ENSO headphones inspired by Japanese philosophy
Audio-Technica has released a special version of its iconic studio headphones, the ATH-M50x ENSO. The new design is inspired by Japanese philosophy and the enso symbol representing simplicity, harmony and continuity. It brings back the classic all-black styling of the original M50x, which temporarily gave way to the colorful limited editions of recent years.
Each ATH-M50x ENSO pair features engravings on the earcups and headband, symbolizing the movement of sound waves and the brushstrokes of traditional Japanese ink painting. The specifications remain unchanged, with the same 45mm drivers with copper-aluminum voice coils and soft ear cushions that provide clear and detailed sound with deep bass. The earcups can be rotated 90 degrees for easy one-ear monitoring, and the design folds up for transportation.

Only 5,000 units of the ATH-M50x ENSO will be produced worldwide, and each will receive an individual serial number. In addition, 500 random buyers will find a special postcard inside the box, which can be redeemed for an exclusive ENSO accessory set – a headphone stand and a branded case.
