ASUS announces the ROG Falchion RX gaming keyboard

Assus has announced the — ASUS ROG Falchion RX wireless gaming keyboard. Its features include an interactive touchpad, various connectivity methods and optical switches.

The ROG Falchion RX from ASUS is built in a 65% form factor and has no number pad. It features two layers of silicone foam to absorb noise and improve the sound when keys are pressed. Beneath the keys, special low-profile ROG RX optical switches are used: blue switches that actuate at 1.5mm and red switches that actuate at 1mm. They feature lubricated stems, stabilizers, and springs for smooth, quiet operation.

Atop the keys is a touchpad that lets you control the volume, media player, and RGB backlighting.

The keyboard supports three connectivity options: ROG Speednova’s proprietary 2.4GHz low-latency wireless technology, Bluetooth with up to three simultaneous connections, and a USB cable. You can also connect a keyboard and mouse simultaneously to a single ROG Omni Receiver.

ROG Falchion RX has built-in memory for storing up to six profiles. The keyboard is compatible with both Windows PCs and Apple computers.

ASUS ROG Falchion RX is available for purchase now for about $180 ($16 360 USD) for the red switch version and $195 ($17 700 USD) for the blue switch version.
