Apple Vision Pro has passed its first durability test

The new and unique Apple Vision Pro headset has just recently been released and has already passed a number of durability tests. As we’ve learned, the device has a sturdy design that can withstand a lot of abuse. Testing of the device was conducted by YouTube-channel AppleTrack. The tester walked around the house in the headset, deliberately colliding with doors and walls. The Vision Pro received only minor scratches while continuing to work. According to beta testers, the risk of injury from bumping into obstacles is greater for the user than the likelihood of the device breaking.

It became clear during the study that the magnetic mount’s seal is not designed to lift the device at all. Trying to lift the headset by this element causes it to detach and the device to fall. Despite this, even falls from a small height did not cause serious damage. Severe damage to the headset was only caused after dropping it from a height exceeding the height of a person. The outer screen’s protective glass was cracked but not shattered, and the internal and external displays continued to work despite the external damage.
