Apple has added three more gadgets to its list of “vintage” devices

Apple has updated the list of devices that are considered “vintage”. Three different types of gadgets have been added to the list. The company has named the devices and reminded what the new status means for their owners.
Devices are considered “vintage” if Apple stopped officially selling them more than five but less than seven years ago. In that case, the company will continue to accept these gadgets for repair, but only if parts are available. The iPhone X, HomePod smart speaker, and first-generation AirPods have been added to the list of “retired” devices.
iPhone X was introduced in 2017 and was Apple’s first device with a frameless design, Face ID and AMOLED screen. The HomePod was announced at WWDC 2017, and the original AirPods were released in September 2016 along with the iPhone 7.
