Acer introduced the Predator Connect X7 5G CPE and Connect T7 Mesh gaming routers
By ForGeeks Acer has unveiled new gaming routers — the Predator Connect X7 5G CPE and Connect T7 Mesh. Both devices are based on Qualcomm Immersive Home Platform and support Wi-Fi 7.
The Predator Connect X7 5G CPE router delivers high speeds by combining two types of connectivity — 5G and Ethernet — to minimize potential disruptions. It also supports the Wi-Fi 7 standard and Multi-Link Operation (MLO) technology. The data transfer rate on this model reaches 3.5 Gbps and latency is only 1 ms, according to the manufacturer.

The Predator Connect T7 Wi-Fi 7 Mesh also supports Wi-Fi 7 and features robust and wide coverage, as well as expandability via a multi-channel mesh system.
The backbone of these routers is a powerful quad-core Qualcomm Technologies chip. The manufacturer has provided advanced MU-MIMO and OFDMA capabilities on connected devices. Both routers support network acceleration and are compatible with the Intel Killer prioritization processor, which allows you to optimize the network for thousands of games, applications and websites. Support for 320 MHz wide channels, Qualcomm 4K QAM modulation (in the 2.4, 5, 6 GHz bands) and multi-channel operations improve performance, throughput and reduce latency.
The Multi-Link Mesh technology allows gamers to utilize multiple access points working together to create a single network. Routers are managed through the Acer Predator Connect app, and a Predator logo light shows network signal strength. Built-in Trend Micro Home Network Security provides an additional layer of security by protecting your network devices from potential attacks and monitoring network traffic.
The Predator Connect X7 5G CPE will go on sale in April this year with prices starting at €399 (R$38,600), while the Predator Connect T7 Wi-Fi 7 Mesh will be released in March this year for $249 (R$22,000).
